As a father, producer, fashion designer, and an artist, some view this artist as problematic by what he posts on social media. This artist is known for his relationship Kim Kardashian and his designer brand "Yeezy". This artist is none other than Kanye West!

Kanye West was born on June 8,1977, in Atlanta, Georgia. However, after his parents divorce in 1980, West and his mother Donda relocated to Chicago, Illinois. As a child, West has always been creative. In the third grade, his mother noticed how talented he was when it came to poetry and drawing. Because of his creativity then, is the reason why he is popular now. In 2002, he released an EP called Get Well Soon which displayed his talents as a producer. Since then he has released numerous projects that were popular: The College Dropout, Late Registration,Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Watch The Throw, Cruel Summer, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, Ye, Jesus is King, Donda, & Donda 2. My favorite albums by Ye are Donda, Donna 2, 808s & Heartbreak, and College Dropout. West was in his bag when he created those albums. The albums Donda and Donda 2 were albums that were dedicated to his mother who passed away in 2007 due to coronary artery disease. Outside of music, West had ventured out into fashion. In February of 2015, West partnered with Adidas and his line was named Yeezy. One thing I can tell you guys, Yeezy slides are really comfortable. They feel like marshmallows.

In July of this year, Ye was featured on a song with Bronx native Cardi B and Chicago's favorite Lil Durk called Hot S**t. I can say that this song is a vibe. One because you have Cardi B and Lil Durk spitting out fire lyrics and then here comes West with his poetic lyrics. When I had listened to this song for the 30,000th time, I can say that I actually like it. It reminds me of when he released The Life of Pablo and he is just giving punch line after punch line. This is a song that you would play while you are at the gym to motivate you to hit 5 miles on the treadmill. Minus the controversy between West and Adidas, I think that he is a great artist. Some may say that West is a "hot mess" but to others, he is "woke". Overall, I think West is great!
If one was to hear the name Kanye West, they hear "toxic baby daddy", "a Trump supporter" or "problematic". However, we cannot take away the fact that this man is multi-talented. He is a rapper, producer, AND a fashion designer. Regardless of what social media may portray Kanye West as, he is still a great artist. Hopefully, he comes out with another album soon.
