This artist has had a chokehold on TikTok with her dance moves and her face card. She also is the daughter of Love and Hip Hop TV personality Benzino Collins. This artist is none other than Coi Leray!

Coi Leray Collins was born on May 11, 1997 in Boston,Massachusetts, but she was raised in Hackensack, New Jersey. She is the daughter of TV personality, rapper, and media mogul Benzino Collins and she has grown up with five brothers. She does not disclose much about her family life, but she does share that she dropped out of school at 16 to work in retail. Before her career jumped off, she had stated that Missy Elliot, Doja Cat, Chris Brown, Bon Jovi, Slick Woods, Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, and Cheif Keef as inspirations. Jumping into her career in 2011, Collins was influenced by her father and started her career under the name "Coi Leray". After leaving her job, she released a single which was her version of A Boogie with da Hoodie's DTB ,which she titled G.A.N.. In 2018, she released her mixtape Everythingcoz, along with her single Huddy. In November of this year, Coi Leray released a single called Players and I can get with this! One, she has the old school beat and then two, she adds her own twist to it with her lyrics made it fire. Leray makes her songs fun to listen to, and that is one of the reasons why I enjoy her music. On top of that, the visuals for her videos? EAT EVERY TIME!
We need to give Coi Leray her flowers because even though she is not Meg Thee Stallion, Latto, or Lakeyah, she is still doing her big one! I am a Coi Leray fan, even though she was giving "Boo, tomato, tomato" during her on stage performances. In the mere future, let's see if she collaborates with more mainstream artists.
